SEO pricing

What SEO costs in Aberdeen.

Being found when someone nearby searches for what you do. A one-off setup to put the foundations right, then a monthly plan that fits how much ground you want to cover. Every price is on this page.

The numbers

£750 to start, then a monthly plan.

One piece of work to put the foundations right, then a plan that keeps it moving. You are not paying for both on the same day, and nothing here only appears once you are on a call.

Paid once, at the start

SEO Visibility Setup

£750one-off

The initial pass: working out what is holding your visibility back, establishing where you stand today, and fixing the foundations most likely to shift it.

A finite piece of work, with a start and an end.

Then, monthly

Your ongoing plan

£350 to £950a month

Which of the three fits depends on how much of the market you are going after: one local area, a wider spread of services and places, or a campaign across several of both.

Begins on the 1st of the month after you start.

The £750

What the setup actually involves.

It depends on what is wrong, so this is what the work can cover rather than a list every business gets regardless.

  • Finding out what your customers actually type into Google, and which of those searches are worth going after.
  • Looking at who is already winning those searches locally, and what they have that you do not.
  • Checking where you currently show up in the ordinary results and the map results, and what you are already being shown for.
  • Going through your Google Business Profile for the gaps and the things set up wrong.
  • Reviewing the website itself: what is helping visibility, what is holding it back, and what cannot be fixed cheaply.
  • Getting measurement in place in Search Console, or checking what is already there, so what happens next is visible rather than argued about.
  • Fixing the on-page foundations that matter: titles, headings, page structure and the copy that tells Google what each page is for.
  • Tidying the internal links so your important pages are not buried, and checking there is a sensible page for each service and area you cover.
  • Checking your business name, contact details and location are consistent across the listings that carry them, then correcting the ones that are wrong.
  • Working through the priority fixes, then setting out the plan for the months that follow.

It is a first pass, not a rebuild. If the site turns out to be the real problem, with no way to add pages, unusable on a phone, or structure that cannot be fixed, we will say so rather than take the fee and work around it. That is a web design conversation, not an SEO one.

The monthly plans

Three plans. The difference is how much ground they cover.

None of them is a stripped-back version of another. All three are genuine ongoing SEO. What changes is how many services, searches and places the work is pushing on, and how much of it there is.

One main local market

Local

£350a month

For a business that mainly needs to get strong, and stay strong, in one local area.

Google Business Profile work, monitoring what you rank for, improving the pages that already matter most, keeping your listings accurate and supporting you to gather genuine customer reviews.

Suits one main service area and a focused set of searches.

More services, more places

Growth

£600a month

For a business that wants to grow into more services, more searches or a wider area.

Everything appropriate from Local, plus active expansion: new service pages where the demand justifies them, area content where it is genuinely warranted, wider search coverage, closer competitor work and building authority.

Suits several services, or a patch bigger than one town.

Several services and locations

Expansion

£950a month

For higher value or more competitive businesses going after significant organic growth.

Everything appropriate from Growth, with a much larger campaign behind it: a strategy covering several services and locations at once, a bigger content programme, active link and authority work, deeper competitor analysis and more hands-on strategic time.

Suits competitive markets, or a business covering several towns and services together.

There are no monthly quotas on any of them. We are not going to promise twenty listings, one blog and four links every month, because work done to fill a checklist is work that moves nothing. We do what creates a real search opportunity that month, and tell you what it was.

Not sure which one fits? Tell us what you want to be found for and where, and we will say which plan suits, including if that is the cheapest.

Every month

Why it does not stop after the setup.

Reaching the first page is not a finish line. Competitors keep working, Google keeps changing things, and a site put right once and then left alone gradually gets passed. The ongoing work protects what is already working, improves the weaker areas and pushes into the next opportunity.

  • Keeping the Google Business Profile current and working, rather than set up once and forgotten.
  • Watching what you rank for in Search Console, including what is moving the wrong way.
  • Improving the pages that are close to doing well but are not quite there.
  • Content work sized to your plan: improving what is already there, and adding pages where there is genuine search demand behind them.
  • Helping you ask for genuine customer reviews consistently, and making that easier to do.
  • Keeping your business details accurate on the listings that carry them, and correcting what drifts.
  • Internal linking and the technical work that keeps the site easy for Google to read.
  • Keeping an eye on what competitors near you are doing, and what they have started ranking for.
  • A monthly update in plain language: what was done, what moved and what is next.
What we aim for

First page is the goal. Nobody can promise it.

The aim is first-page visibility for the searches that actually bring you work, and top-three positions where that is realistically achievable for your trade and your area. That is a target we work towards, not a promise we make.

No one can guarantee a position on Google, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google does not sell rankings and does not publish how they are decided, so a guaranteed position by a guaranteed date is either a guess or a sales line. We would rather tell you that now than have you find out later.

How hard it will be depends on things worth knowing before you start:

  • How many established businesses are already competing for the same searches locally.
  • How much of a head start they have. Sites that have been around and worked on for years are harder to pass.
  • What state your own site and Google presence are in to begin with.
  • How specific the search is. A narrow service in one town is a different job from a broad term across the whole city.

One client per niche

We will not take on your direct competitor.

While you are on an active SEO plan with us, on any of the three, we will not work with another direct competitor in the same agreed niche and the same agreed local area.

The niche and the area are agreed with you at the start and written down, so everyone knows what is covered. It is a defined commitment rather than an open-ended one. It does not mean we stop working with every other business in Aberdeenshire, and it does not extend beyond the period you are actively working with us on SEO.

It matters because local search is a ranked list. Two businesses selling the same thing in the same place cannot both be moved to the top of it, and taking money from both would mean working against one of them.

Common questions

What people ask about the cost.

When do I pay the £750, and when does the monthly plan start?

The £750 is paid once at the beginning, before the setup work starts. The monthly plan you choose then begins on the 1st of the following month, so the two never land on the same day. If you started on 18 September, you would pay £750 for the setup and your monthly plan would begin on 1 October. They pay for different things: the setup is a finite piece of work with an end, and the monthly plan is what keeps it going afterwards.

Which plan do I need?

Local if you are mainly trying to get strong and stay strong in one area. Growth if you want to push into more services, more searches or a wider patch. Expansion if you are in a competitive market, or covering several services and towns at once. Tell us what you want to be found for and where, and we will tell you which one fits, including if that is the cheapest one.

What are local SEO citations?

A citation is an online listing or mention of your business carrying details like your name, location, phone number and website. Google treats them as corroboration, so inconsistency does quiet damage. The setup audits and corrects the core set. After that the job is keeping the important ones accurate and adding worthwhile ones when they come up, rather than mass producing listings nobody will ever read.

Do you write a blog every month?

No, and we would not want to sell you that. Publishing something because the calendar says so is how a business ends up with fifty posts and no extra enquiries. Content here means whatever is genuinely worth having: improving a service page that is nearly ranking, a new page for a service or area people are actually searching for, answering the questions customers keep asking, a case study, or something useful on your Google Business Profile.

Is the Google Business Profile side charged separately?

No. Local visibility is part of the ongoing work on every plan, because for a business serving an area the profile and the website pull in the same direction. Treating them as separate line items would be a billing decision rather than a sensible way to do the work.

What happens to the work if I stop?

It stays. The changes are on your website and your own Google Business Profile, and they remain yours. What stops is the ongoing part: the monitoring, the new work and the reacting to changes. The site holds its position for a while and then gradually gets overtaken by whoever is still at it.
